Cupcake Menu

Over the past couple of months, I have been leaving a trail of flour and sugar everywhere I go because I have been baking up a storm to find the best recipes for my new cupcake menu!

I am glad to announce that my cupcake menu is now available for all to see! (below)

Standard size prices for my traditional cupcakes start from $2.50 each and for my gourmet cupcakes, they start from $3.50 each. (minimum order 1 dozen unless advertised else where)

For Miniature sizes, prices for my traditional cupcakes start from $1.00 each and for my gourmet cupcakes, they start from $1.80 each. (minimum order 2 dozen)

All cupcakes can be altered to have our famous strawberry butter cream icing, sweet glace icing or fresh cream cheese icings to top!

I have been so busy over the last few weeks taking and baking many orders that I haven't had a chance to update my blog! I have a spare few weeks coming up and promise to update this as soon as I can :)

Cake Tasting Plates

I remember when I was planning my husbands and my wedding, once had booked in our wedding cake, we couldn't wait to have our taste tester!! We felt like little kids when we got to scoff our face with so many different cakes!
And sometimes, (if your day turns out anything like mine) unfortunately you don't get around to eating your own wedding cake on your wedding day but at least you know what it tasted like!

I believe trying before you buy is a must. And because your wedding cake is such a big part of your day for you and your guests, it is important you know what it tastes like before the day!

Therefore, Missy Moo Cakes offers cake tastings to ALL of our customers. Whether you book your wedding, engagement, birthday, christening etc. you can try your cake before the big day!

So, for $40, you can pick 4 flavours from our cake list for you and your fiance' or friend to try.
..."but wait there's more!"... if you spend over $500 on your cake order, your tasting is completely FREE!!!

The cakes come packaged and labelled so you can enjoy them in your own time. We also throw in a fun questionnaire to make it easier for you to rank which ones are your favourites!

Couple of cakes from the Weekend

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend! I did!

I'm happy to announce that I will be having a stall showcasing my cakes and taking orders at the Lake Macquarie Wedding Expo on August 21st which is being held at Club Macquarie at Argenton. So over the next few months I will be coming up with designs which will hopefully catch the eye of many brides to be!

Anyways, to start our Monday off here are a couple of pics taken on my phone of 2 cakes I made over the past couple of days.

The first one, an Army/Paintball themed was for a surprise 25th birthday and the second cake (the number 1 cake) was for a photo shoot which I will have photos to show soon!!

Personalised Cake Toppers

Hi Everyone!!

Cake toppers these days are so generic! My husband and I decided to have ourselves, our dog 'Moo' and some chooks & eggs (because he is an egg farmer) on top of our cake for a bit of fun, and now I want to share these toppers with the rest of you, so you can all have something special to keep forever... These toppers are made from quality polymer clay, not  modelling sugar like many other suppliers!

I have just finished putting together pricing for personalised cake toppers that are made to order, for you and your husband (or wife) and whatever may be special to you in your life! 

I have photos of my good friend Kate's wedding topper but her wedding isn't until next weekend (the 16th) so I don't want to share the pics just yet because her's is a surprise!!

Wedding cake for Mr & Mrs Kell

This past weekend I had the honour to bake and decorate a wedding cake for friends of ours that were married at the beautiful Rafferty's resort at Cams Wharf.

The couple opted to have a 3 tiered, twisted square cake with the following flavours- Bottom- Boston Chocolate Mud, Middle- White Chocolate & Raspberry Swirl, Top- Choc Mint Mud, all which were taste tested a few months ago.

Mrs Kell contacted me yesterday to say "It was beautiful and VERY Yummy. Everybody commented on it! Thank you so so much. You did a FABULOUS job. Matt and I loved it!"

The cake topper was made by a family friend and was transported all the way from Tasmania on the lap of the mother of the groom. It was purely made out of sugar. Dog and all!!

Hi All,

Well I'm back from my beautiful holiday in Hawaii with my Husband and my parents and since then I haven't stopped!!

So far, I have had orders for hens day cupcakes, a 50th birthday cake, an Army themed birthday cake, a 3 tiered black and white wedding cake, 2 x 1st birthday cakes and cupcakes for a high tea party!!

I love being busy!!
